The platform is not a body of the European Union, a state institution, a political party, or an official representative of the European Parliament, the European Commission, or the Council of the European Union.

The term "citizens' initiative" describes the civic and social character of the project. It does not denote a formal European Citizens' Initiative unless and until the project is registered under the procedure provided for by European Union law.

Signatures collected will be used solely to document support, forward the petition to the relevant institutions, and carry out actions directly related to the initiative.
