No. The initiative firmly supports effective child protection. It only opposes the mass, indiscriminate analysis of the communication of society as a whole as a method of achieving that goal.

Is CitizenZone an official European Union institution?

No. CitizenZone is an independent citizens' initiative. It is not an EU body, a state institution, or a political party.

What happens to my data after I sign the petition?

Data is used solely to confirm the signature, prevent duplicates, and forward the petition to institutions. Details are on the Privacy page.

Can I withdraw my signature?

Yes. After confirming your signature, you receive a secure link allowing you to view your data and withdraw your signature at any time.

Will my data be published?

Only after separate, voluntary consent — and only to a limited extent (first name, first letter of last name, country).
